Wordy post, but definitely worth reading!

We've saved a life :D

Clinton, Jairus and I met up to play snooker at ToaPayoh's Safra today, at about 2 plus in the afternoon. At first, Jairus and I couldnt go, cos my mum didnt allow me to, as I wasnt feeling well, after our night safari trip last night. BUT! my dad came home, then he told me to go and relax. hahaha how awesome is my dad (so in other words, if it wasnt for his permission to go out, the life wouldnt even be saved by us)

Anyway, when we finished our snooker game, it was raining SUPER heavily. So I called up my dad and asked him to pick us up and fetch us to the interchange. And as we waited for him at the shelter, we saw this brown chihuahua-lookalike doggy, running around in the rain like a lost dog. We were like OMG-ing. It was raining so heavily, and it's running under the rain, in the carpark somemore. Then we saw two men trying to catch it, to get it out of the rain, but to no avail. Clinton went to help them, and Jai went to get a box. My dad came, then Jai and I had to leave already. So poor Clinton was left alone there, trying desperately to catch this naughty dog, in the heavy heavy rain.

When Jai and I reached the interchange, clinton called.

"Rui Shan!!! You all come back can?? please please."

"The two guys leh?"

"They go already!!!"

"Huh...."

"Please please come back help me catch!"

"You want to keep the dog?"

"yes yes I really want this dog."

"okay, see you."

So Jai and I went to buy towels, and cabbed back to Safra for our dear clinton.

We chased it around the carpark like idiots. Can you imagine three people chasing a small little dog around the carpark -.- ? lol.

So we took about an hour to trap it at a small alley. It then calmed down, but still looked really frightened. It was shivering like mad. Poor thing! :( we all see already hor.. the heart pain like siao. So we covered it with towel, and squatted there with it for... 15-30mins. Like idiots, yes. We were afraid that it'll bite us. It's butt looked bruised, and if it has any disease and it happens to bite us... we may be in danger lol!

So... this is the dog :D at the alley!

While squatting with it at the alley, this middle-aged man walked pass us.

"Your dog ah?"

"Er no.. it's a stray one running in the rain. scared it bites."

"Huh! WONT ONE LAHHHH!!!!"

That STUPID IRRITATING ACT SMART uncle, try to be the hero, he went to put his finger near it. Then like what we expected, it snapped at him and barked super fiercely. That uncle like kena shocked.


SO GEH KIANG RIGHT!!! >:(

Then we were like.... errrr............

So he thinks he's still gonna be the hero, he took the box we found, and walked towards it. YOU THINK WE DONT KNOW TO USE BOX AH, BUT IF USE BOX, OBVIOUSLY IT'LL RUN WHEN IT SEES THE BOX WHAT, Stupid uncle.

Him trying to be the hero go and act smart, in the end chase the dog away. THENNNNN????

CHASE AHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I know you all sure think that we shouldnt chase, or not it'll run even faster. Yes, we've tried that, but it still runs as fast!!!! woah I tell you, it's totally marathon!!! It ran along the pavement beside the highway! We carried the towels and the box, run run run run and still continued running. Woah, tiring I tell you. Then after that was a dead end. The dog super scared, then sit on the grass and look at us. Then later it started to smell us, then?

RUN AGAIN!

We chase again la! Then it crossed the road!!! woah. Fyi, the road meaning the highway road. SO DAMN MANY CARS. Honestly we all thought this dog sure kena knocked one. I was screaming like siao. I then dont wanna see the dog kena knocked la, YOU WANT MEH! It ran to the opp side, over to my block. We chase chase chase, until we gave up, cos cannot find it already. All sat down, disappointed. THEN SUDDENLY, jai spotted it running opp us.

CHASE AGAIN!

I called Irwin to come down and help us. When Irwin came down, he saw us all chasing it towards the highway, back to Safra area. EVEN MORE CARS!!! woah it's hell. So many cars braked like crazy for it, then we so paiseh! Lol. IT RAN UP THE HIGHWAY AGAINST THE TRAFFIC FLOW, and the whole stretch of traffic stopped for it! Singaporeans are awesome. Then we chase it back to the pavement along the highway again, and all sat down, tired. This picture is damn cute.

So Irwin managed to touch it, without it biting or attacking. We carried it to a void deck, and waited for it to calm down. Clinton's dad came to pick him, cos he had to acc his dad to the docs. Waited for him to come back... that was about 6 plus already. Meanwhile, we decided to name it DASH. Cos she was dashes across roads like mad. We called everyone, anywhere, to ask for clinics, numbers, addresses. So with the help of Powen, we managed to get a Veterenarian's number, Dr Teo. Clinton and Irwin headed to the clinic immediately, to get a check up for the dog, in case it has any disease or illness. Jai and I went home first, cos I gotta go to my aunt's house. While on the way to the clinic, Irwin and Clinton let it down, and amazingly, Dash followed them!!! :D So cute and heart warming!

Clinton called me soon after, asking if my dad could lend him the money first. The fucking medical bills for this dog was $120! So after much persuasion, my really really kind dad decided to pay this amount first. :D He drove jai and I down to the clinic, went to draw the money, and paid! (the vet was super haolian la, attitude sucks!) hahahaha anyway, it was happiness. Dash totally recognises us now, and she sticks to us! She's really cute la! When we opened the door of the clinic, she ran out! All of us panic lah!

CHASE, AGAIN.

WE SPENT $120 ON IT OKAY, IF NOW RUN AWAY IS LIKE WASTING MONEY LAH! But luckily, it just went out on the road to pee, then it let us catch it. Hahaha good Dash!

Dad fetched Irwin home, then Clinton and Dash home. (Clinton didnt even know how to carry Dash lah!)

But right now, Dash loves Clinton, and Clinton loves Dash too. Dash is three yrs old, has fever, and skin infection. Her previous owner had put some chinese medicine on her wounds, STUPID BASTARD OWNER. I'm glad (after much chasing) that Dash has found her new home with a loving owner, and that she's safe and sound now! :)

Dash! Your birthday is 30th August 2008! We all love you! :D
